Green Roofs – how to deliver high quality Green Infrastructure

16 June 2022

17:00 -18:00

Join an open discussion about green roofs with experts from green infrastructure, engineering, architecture and landscape architecture - talking about how to get the best quality green roofs through collaboration. Discussing the issues and coordination required to do this well for clients and urban environments.

The London Plan requires all major developments to include urban greening as a fundamental element of site and building design. Urban Greening Factor (UGF) evaluates the quantity and quality of urban greening provided by a development. Green roofs are part of the equation but how do we get them right?

The event will be on the roof garden at 5 Endeavour Square looking over Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and International Quarter London.

Chair:
Pippa Henshall - LLDC/Henshall Green - author of the LLDC Green Infrastructure Guide

Panellists
Gary Grant - Green Infrastructure Consultancy
Peter Massini - Future Nature Consulting
Gemma Jerome - Building with Nature
