A guided tour showing the comprehensive vision architects had for the Grade 2 Listed Modernist Social housing Ossulston Estate, with drying rooms, Tenants Halls and different access points. This tour is an insight into the ambitious scheme, with local resident input, giving unique access to its spacious courtyards, and interior features, not usually accessible to the public.
Designed by G.Topham Forrest; built between 1927 to 1931, the estate was influenced by Vienna's Karl Marx Hof.
Guided Tour starts and ends at the People's Museum Somers Town, where publications on Social Housing and a small library can be found.
Led by Founder of the People's Museum Somers Town, Diana Foster.
