ACT! Unseen films

03 June - 24 June

18:30 -20:30

Join us for a series of curated film nights, every Friday in the month of June and watch unseen footage of an earlier time of community.

Filmmaker Sue Crockford worked and filmed in Somers Town, creating the 1980s documentary 'Somers Town' with 1930s footage, telling the story of the slum clearance and the innovative 1930s social housing project: a forerunner to housing associations and social housing throughout the UK. She had access to the first tenants, and we now have recently discovered unseen footage of additional content. After the film Q&A with Diana Foster and Esther Leslie of the People's Museum Somers Town.

The full film listings can be found via our Eventbrite. Please book ahead.
