Create your own activist designs in these radical screen-printing workshops.
Be inspired by the local tradition of activism – Ossulston Street is where teenage sisters printed the anarchist paper The Torch in the 1990s – and delve into the Somers Town’s social activist history for slogan ideas like ‘Art in everyday life!’
We’ll also look at the work by 1960s social activist Nun and screen printed, Corita Kent.
Print onto posters or upcycle a T-shirt (available on donation or bring your own!). All will be displayed in an exhibition at the end of the Festival at the Somers Town Museum.
The workshop will be delivered by artist and art technicia.
