Camden Guides Richard and Chris will lead you through London's jewelry quarter set in a historic area containing Inns of Chancery and a couple of ancient churches. We will visit a pub that traces its origins back to the reign of Edward VI and see the site of London's most daring heist and look at some of London's earliest social housing estates. We will see gunsmiths' workshops and the heart of London's long-established Italian community in Clerkenwell as well the areas that inspired Dickens to write Oliver Twist and we will walk along the mean streets of Victorian London.
