From Felix to the Helix: 200 years of architecture in Camden Town

12 June 2022

17:00 -18:30

Explore two centuries of architectural styles on this guided walk from Mornington Crescent to King’s Cross, an area of London as architecturally varied as it is diverse. With Camden Guides Elena Paolini and Penny Burns, you will discover the flamboyant Art Deco Carreras factory fit for a pharaoh and the grim reality of a Victorian workhouse. You will enjoy a little light entertainment at an Edwardian temple of theatre and finally marvel over a 21st century cathedral of science, the Crick Institute - there is something for everyone on this walk.
