Join us for this guided outdoor walk as we confront the dark social history of Lincoln’s Inn Fields. We will visit landmark buildings and public spaces – to learn about their fascinating lives both past and present. Along the walk, we will visit the Insolvent Debtor’s Court’s site, designed by the architect John Soane, and the Soane’s House and Museum, designed to showcase his large personal collection. Our narrative about the evolving roles of the Museum and Debtor’s Court will offer thought provoking insights into the social divisions created by wealth and indebtedness and their influence upon life in London today.
