Greek Revival architecture: simplicity and splendour

Embark on a journey through the British Museum, to see and learn more about Greek Revival architecture in one of its prime examples in London. The British Museum was designed in the 1820’s by the English architect Sir Robert Smirke (1780-1867), the contemporary of John Nash, Sir John Soane and William Wilkins.
