Guided tours of Two Temple Place last for an hour. You’ll learn about the history and architecture of this unique and eccentric building, built for the self-exiled William Waldorf Astor in 1895. This exquisite neo-Gothic gem is a showcase of Astor’s interests and aspirations, and chance to see into his secretive personality, a building created from several generations of his family’s legendary wealth, and a mighty tribute to the craftsmen he convened to make it possible, who worked also on his other homes at Cliveden and Hever Castle. Pevsner called it “a perfect gem” – this is your chance to visit this fairytale building.
