Students from all art, architecture and design courses will exhibit their work at the Summer Show from 22nd June to 2nd July 2022, with a private view on 22nd June 2022 from 6pm to 9pm. The annual Summer Show private view event is the biggest in the University calendar, regularly attracting 2,000 people on opening night to celebrate the success of our graduating students.
Architectural projects engaging with London include the adaptation of structures around Walthamstow Wetlands, community uses for the Marks & Spencer building in Hackney and alternative designs for the new Royal College of Art building in Battersea.
The pandemic and environmental crisis inform explorations of future living on contrasting sites in rural Calabria and urban London, while live design and build projects include a permanent structure at Mudchute farm and a climate change pavilion in the National Forest.
