Connecting Camley Street is an art installation designed by local young people, including Maiden Lane Estate's Friday night “10-teens" youth club.
Last year, based on feedback from the local community, we asked a group of young residents to help us transform this underpass, located at the northern end of Camley Street. Working with local artists Rochester Square, the group created a series of collages and painted artwork to reflect Camden’s unique identity and culture.
As part of Camden Council’s Community Investment Programme, Camley Street will be a highly sustainable new neighbourhood that will provide affordable homes, improved employment space and green, open spaces for residents.
We hope you enjoy this immersive experience that celebrates Camden’s strengths and diversity now and moving into the future.

Camley Street is located in the heart of Camden, just north of King's Cross. The underpass for the Connecting Camley Street installation is at the northern end of the street as you drop down from Agar Grove - but if you're coming from the south, you can also walk up past the Camley Street Natural Park and follow the road up.
