Co-Creating Green Community Spaces: Global Generation in Kings Cross

Talk and Q&A exploring how Global Generation have worked with the local community to create educational and active gardens in Kings Cross.

Global Generation is an environmental education charity, growing food, people and communities for a just world.

We have worked in meanwhile spaces around the Kings Cross development for the last 12 years, working with local community members, especially children and young people, to co-design and co-build our community gardens.

This collaborative process has put young people at the forefront of creative thinking around city greening, urban food growing and sustainable city design.

Our newest space is the ‘Floating Garden’, a new community garden space, on a boat!
