Art Architecture Action! How can socially engaged tactics in art and architecture activate the public realm?

17 June 2022

18:00 -20:00

Join Turner Works and Create London in our shared studio space to explore
how we each activate public spaces through art and architecture.

Through a series of mini-talks we will explore activation
strategies at urban scale and within diverse community
settings in Weston-Super-Mare with Turner Works and in
public realm art interventions with A House for Artists and
Hackney Windrush Public Programme with Create London.
We will conclude with a very special cup of tea, co-created
with residents from the Becontree Estate in Dagenham and
artist Sadia U-Rehman.

And there will be (art) beer!
Programme of talks between 6.15pm and 7.15pm.
Drop in anytime between 6-8pm.
