Act Now: Biodiversity in London

16 June 2022

18:00

As the Borough of Camden is a key destination for this years’ festival, HTA and the London Wildlife Trust will be hosting a panel discussion at the beautiful Camley Street followed by tours of the nature reserve. Our expert panel will discuss how to genuinely increase biodiversity within London housing developments. They will address the challenges of bringing nature back to urban sites and express the importance of landscape-led design to tackle the climate crisis.

Speakers include:
David Mooney, London Wildlife Trust
Theresa Brewer, Landsec
James Lord, HTA Design LLP

Led by the Wildlife’s experts, the tours of this unique urban nature reserve will involve a walkaround the wildlife haven on the canalside whilst learning about the woodland, grassland and wetland habitats including ponds, reedbed and marshy areas, which all provide a rich habitat for birds, butterflies, amphibians and plant life.
